Ask Venezuelans about home and it probably won't take long before somebody starts talking about food.

Arepas. Cachitos. Empanadas. Malta. Reina Pepiada. Chocolate

These aren't simply things we eat.

They're attached to places, people and memories.

A cachito can remind you of stopping at the bakery in the morning. An empanada and a cold Malta can transport you somewhere completely different for a few minutes. Even the names can trigger conversations between people who grew up thousands of miles apart but somehow share the same memories.

That's part of what inspired the world of ArepitaWear.
